Hey people....remember all the hard work I put into the GDT's this year and the amount of laughs provided at the hands of Seidenmoose, the List of Bruin Grievances, the South Park Bruins, and the Bergeron line as Swedish House Musicians and all the other ridiculous things I wasted time on in that effort?

Well, if you could take a couple seconds from lamenting about the draft and squeezing water from a rock to fix the Cap situation, and kindly go here:

http://hfboards.mandatory.com/showthread.php?p=87207917#post87207917

......and vote for the "Columbus Zoo" GDT in the Waffle Cup contest, I'd quite appreciate it.

Right now our board's GDT is getting soundly kicked by the Philadelphia entrant, and while it's a solid, informative GDT, it doesn't have a ****ing fire breathing Penguin. It doesn't have Claude as Jack Hanna fondling a koala. There are no damn zoos.

It's clearly inferior, but Philly is turning out the vote hardcore - which is also sad, considering how the members of the Bruin board outnumber the Philly board - so there's really no excuse for us to be losing.

Again, go here http://hfboards.mandatory.com/showthread.php?p=87207917#post87207917and vote your conscience.

Thank you to Alicat, Wally, Lockheed 301, Ten Thousand Hours, the folks from the Sota, Dallas and Ottawa boards who voted (and anyone else among the 17 votes that I missed). I couldn't have made it to where I am today without your support.

If you don't go vote....may Seidenmoose trample on your cold, empty soul.

:)

You got my vote. C'mon, y'all, show some love for the moose

:moose:

Wooooooo! Thanks Soosh!

Saw some more board folks voting....so those that did, thank you!

Those that didn't, there's still time. We're (inexplicably) 29 votes down to the Philly board, so today, while you're here bemoaning the lack of Bruin activity in the free agent market, take a second to vote for the Land of Houses and Zoos.

Seriously, absolutely NONE of those GDTs compare to yours, SoM. I freaking loved that one and showed it to like 5 different people at work. I did my due diligence and voted for it. Hopefully you can come from behind and win the bad boy! :yo:

Awww shucks! Thanks!

We're onto the second round folks....take a moment, step away from the Tobin and vote again for the great Land of Houses and Zoos masterpiece!

Don't let those Philly bastidges take this! (Not you of course, Soosh, I luffs you). We got more members so turn it out (minus of course, Bruin fans who vote for the Philly GDT. So sahlty.)

We are only down 12 votes so please take a moment to go over between now and July 4th and vote for the Bruins GDT.

I promise all of the trade Marchy, Krejci and Chara threads will all still be here when you get back...

Houses and Zoos y'all!

If the Bruins somehow defeated the Flyers, a mighty opponent would be in your path.

Whether it is the Habs or the Red Wings remain to be seen at this point.

http://hfboards.mandatory.com/showthread.php?t=1649059 - If the Bruins somehow went all the way...

I really like both the Detroit and Montreal entrants; both are such good work and it really was difficult to make a decision. At that point, a Boston win would be purely about a "get out the vote" effort and I'm on vacation upstate NY, so I've been pretty worthless in that regard.

I have no designs on taking down slocal though. I'd vote for that GDT over mine.....I just want to get out of the second round - unlike the Bruins. :(
