The Basics:
How to get to T-Mobile Arena
Option 1: Public Transportation:
www.lvmonorail.com
The monorail isn't great and it's a little expensive, but if you hate renting cars and aren't staying at a hotel in the South Strip Area, it's an option. T-MA is located behind the New York New York Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas Blvd between Tropicana Avenue and Park Avenue, so the best option is to exit the monorail at the MGM Grand Station and walk to T-MA.
If you're in town, but not on The Strip and (somehow) without a car/don't want to pay for parking, the RTC has special gameday routes pre- and post-game to T-Mobile Arena on RTC Routes:
605 Summerlin Golden Knights Express
606 Henderson Golden Knights Express
607 Centennial Hills Golden Knights Express
608 Southwest Golden Knights Express
The fare is $2.00 each way, and from what I've heard is actually a pretty good ride.
Option 2: Drive to T-Mobile Arena
Getting to T-MA is easy, parking is also pretty easy, if you know what you're doing. There are five VGK approved parking garages around the arena.
Parking is expensive, so plan on $25 for day of game parking. Paid in advance parking is also available at a discount from ParkMobile. Parkmobile|Parking Made Simple
Option 3: Rideshare.
Ridesharing services such as Uber will drop off/pick up at Excalibur (E) across Tropicana from T-Mobile Arena. The route to get from the arena to the pickup location is well marked and will take you under Tropicana via Frank Sinatra Drive.
Okay, you're at T-Mobile Arena, what now?
Well, you watch the Knights win.
Check out the T-MA Site for Food Options inside the arena: Arena Dining | T-Mobile Arena
Or save a couple dollars (perhaps) and eat in The Park: The Park - Outdoor Dining, Shopping & Entertainment on the Las Vegas Strip
Day of Game (Hockey Related) Activities:
Morning Skate:
The Golden Knights will usually have morning skate at City National Arena in Summerlin.
City National Arena is located at: 1550 S Pavilion Center Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89135
Practices are generally open to the public, free of charge, and pretty fun. It's a little bit of a trek from most of the touristy areas, but it's probably worth a trip if you're making it a hockey-centric vacation. MacKenzie River Pizza is a restaurant located between the two sheets of ice at City National and have a full menu and full bar available.
Pre-Game:
The March to T-Mobile Arena starts in front of the New York New York near the Brooklyn Bridge and begins around 15 minutes prior to the doors opening at T-Mobile Arena. The Knight Line, Ice Crew, and occasionally radio/TV personalities and other team officials will join the march. Kind of fun to watch, especially since the path to the front doors is usually filled with drunk visiting fans.
