News Article: Vincent Trocheck Growing Up Fast in Florida

As you can imagine there wasn't much to talk about after Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Coyotes, so I decided to see how Vincent Trocheck was doing just three games into his NHL career.

He said a lot of the things you'd like to hear from a young guy and it's pretty amazing that he's playing 20+ min a night and taking the majority of the team's face-offs already.

I'm sort of shocked on how much time he has gotten right away. Doesn't look out of place though.

Looks like he is the #3 center moving forward, as I don't see him going to wing with his faceoff skills.

Even though he's playing well I'm still shocked at the amount of minutes he's gotten. I can't remember the last time a rookie came up this late in the season and got this kind of playtime, but given how good he's been on face-offs he puts himself in an opportunity to be out there during any situation.

I really wouldn't call 13/23 mediocre especially for a rookie.

He looks good. And the F/O is a huge positive, considering its something we have really struggled with all season (one of the many!)
