The New Jersey Devils are off to a fast start with a roster that includes a trio of younger defensemen. One of those young defenders, Damon Severson, checked off a couple of milestones in just his second NHL game, including his first NHL goal, in a 5-1 win over the Florida Panthers.
Severson, who played for the WHL‘s Kelowna Rockets in 2013-14, wristed home a shot from the point past Panthers starting goaltender Roberto Luongo to make the score 4-0 in the Devils’ favor.… read more
