Despite what would be considered an unsuccessful weekend in which they lost two games, the rebuilding Buffalo Sabres still received glimpses of a potentially better future with the first NHL goals from prospects Johan Larsson and Tim Schaller.
Larsson has traveled Interstate 90 between Rochester and Buffalo on more than one occasion this season, receiving the latest call-up on December 21st. He suited up for the Saturday contest between the Sabres and the Colorado Avalanche, a game won by the Avalanche by a 5-1 score.… read more
