Five years after being chosen in the first round of the NHL Draft, and after missing an entire season and most of another from the effects of a concussion, Colorado Avalanche forward Joey Hishon finally cashed in his first NHL goal – the game-winner – in a 3-2 win over the Nashville Predators.

Way to go Joe!!! One of my all-time favorite Attack players. Let's hope this is the start to a length stay in the big show.

Interesting I decided to look up what Brayden McNabb the guy who hit Joey in the Memorial Cup was up to. Seems he just made it to the show full time this year.

Since he was last of London property, obviously the Knights can rightfully claim his development. :sarcasm:

Congrats to Hishon. My 2nd favourite Attack player after Maidens.

LOL... I forgot that they claimed him... At first I was thinking that you were claiming Stratford as "London" like Toronto claims everything around them..

Joey was one of the few Attack players I met personally over the years he was here and he was always great to talk to. Cameron Brace as well, another of my all time favorites.
