It’s been a weekend for unheralded players netting their first NHL goals. On Saturday, it was the Arizona Coyotes‘ Justin Hodgman, and on Sunday night it was Washington Capitals‘ free agent signee Liam O’Brien who lit an NHL lamp for the first time in a 4-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks.
