Just five days after teammate Christian Thomas potted his first NHL goal, Montreal Canadiens defenseman Nathan Beaulieu netted his first in a 4-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators.

With the Senators leading 3-1 in the third period and the Canadiens working in the Ottawa zone, Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban worked the puck along the left side boards. Subban then dropped a pass back to the left point to Beaulieu, who then lofted a shot towards the Senators’ goal.… read more
