</p>In a high-scoring, back-and-forth affair, Team Finland sent the hometown fans home happy after defeating Canada, 6-5, in a quarterfinal matchup at the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship. The win at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki sends the Finns into a semi-final clash with their neighbors and archrivals, Sweden.

As has been the case through much of this tournament, Finland’s first line of Jesse Puljujarvi (2016), Sebastian Aho (CAR)*and Patrik Laine (2016)*were the difference makers against Canada, with that line connecting for three of the six goals scored by the Finns.… read more
