</p>In a game that literally became a ‘last shot wins’ scenario, Team Sweden moved on to the gold medal game after taking a 6-5 shootout victory from Canada in the semi-finals of the 2016 IIHF U18 World Championship.

Sweden forward Linus Lindstrom scored the shootout- and game-winner after Canada forward Brett Howden had tied the shootout with a goal of his own.
