Vegas: Get enough cap space for Gusev (his $4M), Glass, Roy and Schultd ($860,000) and a juicy 2nd round pick for Eakin.

Capitals: Get some needed cap space and two draft picks. Get Cody back home to rebuild a new 3rd line: (Hagelin - Eakin - Panik).

Oilers: Get a SC champion 3C on a long-term good quality/price contract.

Devils: Get a goalie and a 0.55 PPG forward.

Don't like it for the Oilers... I think we could find a better solution at 3C. Eller is on the wrong side of 30, declining, and has three years left on his deal.. we don't even really save any cap from moving Gagner and he only has one year left.

Edit: also we lose a 2nd

You know, for a very complicated 4 team trade, this all adds up pretty well.

For Capitals one of the issues would be having to re-sign Eakin after this season. It would be really hard to get him signed for $3.5m that Eller makes right now.

A couple of Edmonton fans dislike solving their absent 3rd line center problem for 2 2nd round picks at a cost of $3.5m per year. Good luck with that. See you in the playoffs. Hahaha, just kidding. You won't be in the playoffs. You don't have a 3rd line center among a hundred other things.
