Methinks it's the other way around. He signed with the Knights over the Penguins because he wanted to be with his hometown org.

Good AHL depth at C (he could be the Wolves' #1 C next season), possible NHL future. He played with Sprong for a bit with the WBS Penguins last season. He went undrafted and spent the year in the ECHL 2 seasons ago. Another misfit!

True. I admit I posted that ignorantly as soon as I read that they signed him. Not usually my nature haha.
