He was very effective for Dallas, 5th in scoring for Chicago, tied for 2nd in power play goals, great 2 way player.
What's not to get here?
Dont see how it’s that much of a sellers market. Seeing Jeff Carter go for that low as a veteran center and now Janmark to Vegas for another cheap deal. It’s almost a buyers market for solid centers.
Janmark's had a good rebound season for Chicago, but he's not a true center and it's a relatively steep rental price when you consider that he doesn't have the long body of work of a typical guy that attains that kind of draft haul.
Hhhm I wonder if that means Getzlaf deal fell through, or he decided not to waive?

I saw Janmark going for more than a 2nd and a 5th flip. Vegas is going to use em on the 3rd line. And that’s a damn good role for him on a loaded Vegas squad. He could make some teams second line for Christ sakes. And only a second and a 5th? Wow.....
3 picks for Janmark? Seems like a lot. Bowman did well here.
So San Jose pays $107,360 for a 2022 5th round pick.
LeBrun said there is a minor league player going from SJ to Vegas too. Gabriel? So San Jose pays $107,360 for a 2022 5th round pick.
GMs don't think like fans.F that. I'd rather pass on a middling pick than help Vegas as a Sharks fan

NoCould you imagine waiving or trading off a good player everytime he strings together a 3 game slump?
Yeah I'm sure that 2022 5th rounder will be a world beaterGMs don't think like fans.

The Sharks know this better than anyone. There have been plenty of late round picks that have turned out to be good players.

Yeah, not sure what that guy is on about. Sharks fifth and lower draft picks around the league:It's a free pick. Mark Stone was a sixth rounder.
