Tkachuk represents a rare marriage of spirited tenacity and high-end skill. A 6'1 specimen that evokes the memory of his father on the ice, Matthew's intelligence and versatility make him a special prospect. Possessing the requisite size, skill, piss, and vinegar, Tkachuk has no issues winning puck battles below the hashmarks and threatening a goal. With the puck on his stick, Matt is equally comfortable, and effective, making plays or pulling the trigger himself.

Tkachuk gives our franchise a nucleus of highly skilled, versatile forwards. He's offensively talented enough to keep up with the likes of Strome, Dvorak, Domi, and Duclair, while still providing our club with a unique skillset we're missing. We're hoping this is the foundation of an offensive juggernaut in the desert.

A competitive spark-plug, Olli Juolevi is a complete, all-around defenceman that can hem the opposition in their own end or make things difficult for the opposition at home; either way, he puts the pressure on and lays it on thick. A strong and balanced skater, he can rush the puck through the neutral zone with ease or backcheck with haste. Uses his size to his advantage, but knows his physical limits and plays within them. Instead of playing overly physical, he makes his presence felt by exhibiting his high-end playmaking ability and puck possession play. All-in-all, a well-rounded blueliner who thrives under pressure and can be trusted in all situations.
