They also missed the playoffs last year and got themselves squarely into cap hell in the process.

They’re spending $30M on Eichel, Pietrangelo and Stone for the next 5 years. Sometimes, the best moves are the ones you don’t make.

We played last night, McMichael played 6 minutes. We should be sitting older guys, like Eller.

If your team is full of vets, don’t burn them out in November.

For the Knights I see Marsh, Karlsson, Smith, Carrier, Theodore, Martinez, and McNabb.

So eight for the Caps and seven for the Knights.

But certainly a lot of big moves for the Knights and not much for the Capitals. But they're an expansion team, of course they had room to make big splashes, including stabbing MAF in the back.

I wish that were the case, but the NHL is weird about load management, Lavy wouldn’t even give old man Chara any games off.

I’d be shocked if a healthy Eller sits at any point this season.
