Less than 50 points for Vegas and less than 60 for Avs. Imo.

Those two teams need a miracle to even hit 70 points.

Vegas roster is putrid and something has gone seriously wrong in Colorado and they have done nothing to fix it.

Can't argue with this.

Why are the Ducks so high?

It's the Westgate in Las Vegas, so it's not too unusual to see them put seemingly unfavorable odds on California teams since plenty of Californians can make a quick jaunt to Vegas to make irrational bets. Somehow the Stanley Cup odds on the Kings went from 18-1 to 12-1 at a Vegas sportsbook when I tried to put a bet down for a friend on the Kings last year. And that was after Quick got injured opening night. The best I could surmise was that the Kings used to have an annual Vegas game to end preseason, so the casinos knew they could offer up bad odds and still rake in bets from fans.

On the somewhat logical side, Anaheim was a 105 point team last season and they're adding Vegas to the division. The Pacific has three teams in the bottom five of their projected point list as well.

And perhaps the average fan wouldn't know to compensate for Hampus Lindholm/Sami Vatanen being injured. I would also guess that the average fan would tend to bet on their team doing better than the previous year.

Think Winnipeg will be much better than that.

As for Vegas, I think they are better than Colorado at least. But we'll see.

Winnipeg and TO could both be too low but Jets need strong goaltending all year and the Leafs need their 7 rookies to all be a little bit better than last year. Montreal I wouldn't want to guess but 100+ might be optimistic. Calgary and Edmonton are okay to me. Vegas will finish ahead of CO, not based on talent but Avs are in freefall like Edmonton was and that takes more than talent to reverse. Plus Gallant has proven a lot more.Doesn't seem like a team that will get outworked. Boston, Sens and Isles seem too low unless Rask, Karlsson, and Doug Weight all get kidnapped. Buffalo could be the surprise riser.

Ha... Vegas gives Vegas the lowest projection.

Makes sense.

ANA and MTL seem overrated. I know MTL usually surprises... we'll see.

Ottawa was a lucky bounce away from the Cup finals. Sure they lost Methot but the team still has lots of talent, they'll get more than 92 points.

As to Vegas they'll be lucky to get 60 points.

Love it! Will be the 4th season in a row the sens will exceed their projected point total and I will win money again. This is getting hilarious.

Hard to argue for or against that low I think. With Fleury he could really will them to some wins they shouldn't get but at the same time that roster is ugly

I honestly don't think the Knights will be as abysmal as many people think they will be. I'd imagine them to finish somewhere around 84 points.

Quarter way through and it seems like the Knights are exceeding a lot of expectations.

Does anyone have the odds for the Knights to win the Cup at the beginning of the season?
