Why? Boeser isnt a high value target so Pittsburgh can get him without giving anything substantial. Which works considering Pittsburgh doesn't have anything substantial to give up

Boeser isn't better than Rakell or Rust. Adding him to that RW group makes no sense. I guess it could happen, but just would be bizarre.

If Pens anything other than a 1st round exit they need to aim much higher

Bringing my post from the Miller thread in here, but the Penguins losing McGinn to waivers will leave them with $5.5 million in cap space. That’s enough for Miller and will be enough if the Canucks retain down.

Bowser at $5.5 million for McGinn (after clearing waivers), a prospect and a 2nd makes sense to me.

Boeser makes no sense for Pens.

It's Miller has always been abut Miller. Hometown guy, power forward, C LW PK PP 20 minute impact player

This has Burke and Hextall written all over it. Canucks wouldnt take McGinn because they have like 5 LWers for next year now with Kravtsov and Hoglander no longer on ELCs and Podkolzin firmly entrenching himself as a every day top9 player without even dealing with Pearson yet.

You dont waste your time trying to clear out mid level players Kap/McGinn and then go after a 2nd line RW

The only positive would be if Rust moves down to L3 with a center brought in. Boeser can help the 3rd line that way. Zucker Geno Boeser as L2.

How could you have participated in any of the previous MN trade discussions and walked away with the thought that they would retain salary beyond this current season?
