Stewart being the most talked about prospect left does not make him the best. There's literally zero argument that he's better than Pettit, who also probably should not be voted in here.

But...Stewart looked real good in practice. :sarcasm:

Honestly, at this point it's guys like Neill/Sautner for me. If i'm gonna pick a late-bloomer prospect, i'm gonna pick one who at least bloomed into something interesting in Juniors. Ahead of even a few guys who have already gone actually.

Does everyone move up a spot now that prospect #10 is gone?

:)

I hate you.

We might just end up doing 26 and noting that Clendening was traded before the list was finished since I would have to edit every single thread title to not confuse people.

Voted Blomstrand, says something for a guy to come over from Sweden and toil away in a third-tier pro league instead of hightailing it back to the SHL. I think he should be in the AHL next season.

Makes sense to me. You have done an excellent job with this, by the way... setting the standard!

Gaudette again.

Should be a no-brainer here. Was the consensus higher-ranked guy than Neill by scouts for this year's draft and Labate is just a pylon. Stewart is one of the worst players in the WHL who apparently had a good 3-on-3 scrimmage.

So do we remove Clendening and bump everyone up a spot? Pretty amazing we went from Forsling to Clendening to nothing..

I think we're just going to do 26 and in the final ranking thread note that the #10 guy was traded before we finished. Because if people click the poll% number, it will take them to the thread/poll they won, and if they see that the new #12 prospect won the #13 poll it will confuse some people.

I went with Sautner. He had good numbers in both of his overage years with the Oil Kings, and could well develop into someone like Biega who can be an emergency call-up that plays respectably enough when necessary.

At this point in the poll, that's probably the best you can ask for.
