Heh, we could potentially have 5 d-men in a row if Brisebois continues to generate all those votes. Brisebois is my choice here, and I would personally go with Grenier after this as the concussions are a major concern for Pedan and I just think Tryamkin doesn't have that high of a ceiling. I'm not even sure where I'd rank Jensen at this point...

I'd put him above Labate, McEneny, and Pettit. That's about it. Also, voting Brisebois here.

Pedan, Brisebois, then Grenier

Pedan undervalued a bit I think. Brisebois is an unknown to me, could be a big riser next year (hopefully) and I'm ok with that.

I'm sure there's probably going to be panic next year when Brisebois still plays on an absolutely terrible team and doesn't post the stats people want. Quite honestly, it's a bit concerning as a development situation...certainly going to continue in a baptism by fire and there's something to be said about the way the kid takes his lumps, that may really aid him if/when he's in a bit over his head making the jumps that prospects makes as they move up levels - some guys just don't know what to do when they're no longer a dominant player on a dominant team.

He's still my pick here though. Pedan a pretty reasonable 2nd and i couldn't really fault a vote there either.

Grenier again. IMO he's dropped a little lower than he should have. He could be this year's Kenins...in terms of being off the radar and making the big club.

I think my next picks would go something like

Brisebois
Grenier
Pedan
Jensen (yeah, I know, but I'll give him one more year before he completely falls off my list)
Tryamkin
Zhukenov
Jasek
Fox

Also, do you guys want to stop at 20 or expand it to 25? It's not something we need to decide right away, but it's something to think about if there is enough interest.

Surprised Jensen is getting any votes. Getting a 3rd or 4th for him in this last draft would have great, and considering I think we did well with both of our picks in those rounds there's no way I put him ahead of Brisebois or Zhukenov.

Pedan, Grenier, Brisebois, Tryamkin, and Zhukenov would all be ahead of him for me.

It has to be a good sign that some of the guys I'm most excited about still haven't made the list. Some of the guys are going to be good.... if we're lucky... some might even be great.

Voted Tryamkin. He's big and mobile and in his 2nd year in the KHL. Pretty impressive and he probably won't look out of place in the NHL if he played this year.

Not so bold prediction - he turns out better than Hutton.

Pedan has a better skill set and was playing like a #1 at one point in the AHL last season. I voted for him.

That moment when you sign on for the first time in a while and see that 4th liner Ronald Kenins is ahead of player who have top 6/top 4 potential... hmmm...

As for this poll I like Grenier, he's not getting near enough love, but I can see the argument for Brisebois.

Can't believe a 4th liner was our #1 prospect last year!

I think 25 is a good idea considering mostly everyone knows the whole pool of players.
