That’s what you took out of this? To me it’s preposterous simply because it’s been very clearly demonstrated that there is nothing that Jim Benning can do hockey ops wise to get fired.

He’s not clearly worth more. Bridge deal always have less $ than longer term deals. This is a thing in the NHL. Definitely not “silly”.
