I got this guy on my most recent EHM Canucks save. I'm glad we are in sync.

I aquired him in exchange for Tucker Poolman and a couple of late picks after he posted a strong 2022/2023 season in Chicago. He was also on a nicer contract than Poolman so I was willing to part with a couple picks to get the cap space back.

I ended up selling high on him after winning the cup, because Edmonton was dumping Evan Bouchard due to their own salary constraints, and I had the fans on my side to make bold moves in the offseason.

Edmonton flipped him to Vegas and he kept a steady pace into his mid-30s.

This is my formal analysis.

Seems to a depth LD, offensive minded but not a defensive black hole. Mobile, not a bad all round player. There are worse options but on a 1 year deal, this won't hurt
