If he was making 8.5MM right now his value would be very low, but he's not—he's making a very reasonable 4.85MM and thats what you're renting for this year. Forget about future seasons, get your player, make your push, and see how they work with the group before considering the extension.

Two valueless pieces and a late 1st seems a bit optimistic. Lindholm will be a ppg+ player with Miller or Pettersson and 1st pk unit.
