I'm not even playing this but I saw somewhere that the Panthers were underdogs to the 3-7 Cowboys so I'll take that one

and yes I do realize the Cowboys wouldn't be 3-7 if Romo had been healthy all year but still come on now.

I'm not even playing this but I saw somewhere that the Panthers were underdogs to the 3-7 Cowboys so I'll take that one

and yes I do realize the Cowboys wouldn't be 3-7 if Romo had been healthy all year but still come on now.

The line has been jumping around the last few days anywhere from Carolina -2.5 to Dallas -1. Most of the bettors are taking Carolina, so I expect they'll be favoured by at least 2 by game time.

While I'm not sure Dallas will win, it does seem that whenever a line comes out that makes no sense to me as a fan, more often than not, Vegas had it right. Just last week, I said the Vikings should be clear favorites over the Packers, and that turned out to be wrong.

The people who make the lines consistently know more than the fans who bet on them. A lot more bettors end up going broke than bookies do.

Dallas opened at -2, though I've heard it got as high as -2.5 in some places. Romo doesn't make that much of a difference. They weren't that impressive against Miami. Vegas might be right, or it might be another Green Bay situation where they were favored by 6 in Carolina and got blown the **** out for 3 quarters. I don't see the line jumping back in Dallas' favor though.
