Well, these are the guys taken in my dynasty salary league with the hopes to see them become impact fantasy players in the next 1-3 years. Our rosters allow for draft picks to develop for up to 3 years before signing them to either our 25 man active NHL team or 40 man AHL farm team prior to the entry draft (2016 signings due by June 2019).

A signing indicates this player wasn't thought to have enough fantasy potential to drafted within 3 years of their NHL eligible draft year with any of the 80 entry draft picks available annually. Or, a lack of draft picks available and unwillingness to leave them available for other GMs.

A draft pick would indicate a high ceiling, though potentially a boom/bust prospect relative to our scoring system (G, A, PPP, SHP, PIMs, Hits and Blocks. W, GAA, SV, SV% and SHO).

Let me preface my suggestions by saying that these are all pretty big long shots. I also tend to pick "riskier" players this deep. For example, I'd pick someone that may never see the NHL but could surprise over someone already in the NHL that isn't expected to ever have a big role.

So, I'd previously voiced that Alex Barre-Boulet was a highly regarded prospect in my pool - and 41 points in 46 games in the AHL as an undersized rookie is pretty impressive. Is he still available?

Rempal also looks to be a decent bet at getting a long look on a scoring line in LA in the next training camp. His 30 points in 37 AHL games looks good on him, though his -23 might play against him.

Gurianov is having quite the AHL season as well, he's not on your list, but could be available due to underwhelming numbers in previous AHL seasons. On that note, I'd expect Jason Robertson to get given every chance to make the Star's roster in the fall given how poor their depth scoring is.
