Umberger is the definition of an invisible player this season so this really doesn't affect the team at all

I for one don't understand all the love for Straka. He's the definition of a career AHLer: not a scorer, not a grinder, not even a leader... just another stuck-in-he-middle mediocre prospect.

He's played 2 NHL games and had points in both and was one of the more noticeable players on the ice.

Have you seen him play a lot of AHL or Juniors games? Just wondering what you are basing this assesment off.

UMBERGER SURGERY SUCCESSFUL
During the first period of the Flyers-Flames game in Calgary, Flyers GM Ron Hextall announced that forward R.J. Umberger underwent successful surgery to repair his right hip and bilateral abdominal areas on Wednesday.

Umberger has missed the last six games, including tonight. It was announced on March 14 that he would be sidelined for 10 weeks. He appeared in the first 67 games for the Flyers this season posting nine goals and six assists for 15 points.
