Hell baby
I know people hate Dana but man, I'm watching this post-fight press conference and it's hilarious listening to him destroy boxing.

he’s gone after Arum the last couple times, doesn’t get old lol

I don’t agree with him on a ton of things but one thing I’ll always have time for is his pettiness. I think he derives more pleasure out of his enemies losing than he does when he wins

100% he will. The UFC brass is cut throat and quitting in your first UFC fight is not a good look

Got beat on saying 100% lol

He commented on the kid a decent amount in his press conference. He mostly defended the kid but also trashed the kids manager for blowing up Sean Shelby nonstop. Said he’s not ready for the UFC and that this sport isn’t for everybody and it’s ok if you get here and realize that. So it sounds like he may not get another opportunity soon

I had texted my friend to get in on thud Hubbard earlier in the week then. I’ve been having a lot of success picking these grinder types against the prospects. I then researched Rohskopf and saw that the public was going in on him hard and thought he’d win a decision in a similar way that Madsen did against Hubbard. Round 1 made me feel really confident in that pick too. Rohskopf was controlling him and Hubbard showed solid defensive BJJ so I thought we were gonna get two more rounds of that.....nope

I’m still hurting over that parlay loss.....Roosevelt is gonna be on my shit list for awhile after losing to a great grandpa with Lyme disease

I wonder if Max Rohskopf gets cut from the UFC.

Too much is being made of the aesthetics.

He's on a 4 fight contract, he's willing to take the 12+12, he's willing to show up on short notice (like this fight a 5 day notice), there's a show every week that needs to be filled. If he wants back in he will get back in.

Rohskopf is 25 with only 6 pro fights, that's huge step up in competition on short notice. He's taking heat for quitting, but had nothing left early in the 2nd and could've crumpled for a TKO finish at any time. The kid took some stiff shots and barely had the energy to stay on his feet for the duration of that round, he was simply done.

Give him one more shot with a full camp imo, he showed some promise early and Hubbard has been in there with some damn good grapplers. Not saying Rohskopf has a UFC future but I don't agree with all the flack he's catching.

I definitely don't want the whole UFC to turn into wrestling specialists, but I do like that we still have a few specialists around. When you're just that much better at something than most guys, it's interesting to see how it matches up. Unfortunately for Blaydes, he's now at the top of a long jammed division and he's lost to the only guy that will definitely still be around for a while longer twice.

Dana defended Rohskopf at the press conference but at the same time, he made sure to point how his manager badly wanted him in the UFC and then he didn't perform. He also mentioned how some people just don't have what it takes to be in the UFC. I think he probably gets cut but they should give him another chance with a full camp.
