Will be good to have fights back, but that's a dog of a card with two NFL playoff games on at the same time.

Yeah, kind of feel like the UFC punted on this one which is surprising. The last several years Kattar-Giga, Max-Kattar, Conor-Cowboy, and Cejudo-Dillashaw were the main events for the first card back from the break. Can't say I'd put Imavov-Gastelum even close to any of those in terms of excitement.

Vieira-Pennington is the only other fight where I know both of the fighters and I don't really care.

I mean, say what you want about Strickland but the man is always down to fight. I really like this fight, Strickland has a chance to bounce back after two high level losses to the last two title challengers (and one now champion) in the division. Imavov gets a chance to show what he's got against a real dog who is ranked above him and has some high level experience.

This card got more exciting with this as the headliner IMO. Love Gastelum but I thought he was going to get run through by Imavov. Woulda had a 6inch height and 4 inch reach advantage on him. Definitely tuning in for the main card. Couldn't give a flying fog about the prelims.

I don't even know what to really think of this. It's different but not better or worse, so ultimately I still don't care much about this card.

What are these guys doing where they get mouth injuries a few days before their fights?

Hell baby
Basharat fight is the one i am most stoked about on the prelims, that’s going to be high level

Excited to see Jimmy Flick back in the sport, he’s fun

Strickland opens as a very slight favorite, I’d agree with that. Imavov’s 3rd round against Buckley was concerning, I think Strickland wins by tko in the later rounds or a decision

I don't like Strickland, but props to him. Being the higher ranked and bigger name fighter, he doesn't have a ton to gain from this fight to be taking it on a few days notice. It's a more intriguing fight than Gastelum for me, but still not that great.

Lol @ having the first card after the break be some Apex bs.

There might end up being some good fights but it's one of those if I'm not home on Saturday I may or may not bother to record it.

Solid performance from Basharat, very slick on the feet.

Caught highlights from the earlier stuff, some pretty good finishes.

Barcelos was actually looking decent in there but that was a sick combo.

Sometimes it's the shots you don't see coming, but it's still crazy to see some guys eat some of these absolute bombs and then that short hook completely puts a dude's lights out.

Rocky is scrappy as hell but it's crazy that these are two top 5 fighters in their division.
