Land of #1 Overall Picks
Blanchfield looked great, but a little disappointed in Andrade, too. She got pieced up on the feet and provided zero resistance on the ground. Blanchfield winning was always a realistic possibility, but never did I think she'd just roll over Andrade like that. Either Andrade didn't show up or we've got the most serious title challenger to Valentina at 125 ever.
Andrade put both hands on the mat to easily give up her back and then did not defend the choke whatsoever. We saw this a little bit when Valentina was controlling her on the ground. Poor technique, possibly she was rocked from a strike.
