Might sound weird to kick on your own team, but i hope my own Malmö FF dont quality to CL again.....man it was embarrassing, level is too high for us. We are better off in Europe League, where we reached playoffs twice...also money is good in Europe League...for a swedish team.

Nothing matches CL money though, even if you get embarrassed thats a guaranteef €30M just to be in the group stages.

Bodo losing 3-1 to Klaksvik in Faeröer is another weird result. They’re still through but surprising nonetheless.

Malmö been in CL 3 times since 2014...we had our share.

We have about 60M in our bank, which is more than many Bundesliga teams for exemple. We are already super rich.

Bodö is not good this season. Losing all of their best players have finally caught up on them. They are far behind this season.

Some surprising results today as Malmo and Bodo/Glimt lost 1:0 away to Zalgiris and Linfield. Dinamo drew 2:2 at home to Macedonian side Shkupi

Not suprised. We are shit and coach is a big joke. He plays with zero defensive guys in the middle. All offensive players.

Ferencvaros and Maccabi Haifa with big away wins, Haifa doing it in Greece as Olympiakos already out. Also with Zalgiris winning at Malmo they are guaranteed some form of group stage football this fall, think the first side from Lithuania to do that though it will become more common now with UEFA introducing a third tournament

No idea about Apollon, but Haifa destroyed Olympiacos. Would be cool to see them in the group stage. Actually, I think they also beat Olympiacos the last time they were in the CL group stage.

Edit: Actually, they had been once since that campaign (2009), but it was their first group stage appearance in 2003.

Then and there
Monaco had a penalty claim turned down, rightly so, imo.

The ball did hit PSV players's hand, but he his hand behind his back ) albeit he turned slightly sideways) and the sheer power of the shot moved his hand loose and it looked like he made himself bigger.

The way the Monaco players reacted you would have thought the defender reached out and volleyballed it out of the box. Agree with your assessment of the play.

And now PSV scores.

This is very critical for Monaco... tough draw but getting punted here again would really hurt.

It's no surprise though. Monaco are notorious slow starters. They suck between August and December and then turn their season around.
1-1 now.

And Fofana hits the post!
