Looking forward to watching Broberg for the first time in this tourney
Gotta say, anyone who doesn't have Broberg in their top 15 is out of their goddamn minds and shouldn't be listened to. IQ issues my ass. He's the 2nd best D prospect in this draft after Byram.
His talent is that apparent. Also, have already watched plenty of Broberg already, just not at the U-18s. So wanted to see what you all were fussing about. Turns out, a whole lot of nada...15 minutes between these posts. Lmao.

I got mixed up between Kupari and KK from a tourney that happened months previously... clearly I'm watching games here, so not sure what your point is.Well, he did actually play at the WJC, so that's at least plausible this time.
I would pick Broberg over Newhook and Caufield personally...
Holtz. Wow.
We are looking at that big, talended top pairing left handed defenseman and Broberg might be exactly that... Love Romanov, but he doesnt have the offensive awareness to quarterback a PP, I see him as a solid all around second pairing defenseman...Interesting.... if we didn't have Romanov or Brook.... I would agree...but, that's not the case.

I see him as a Hedman type regarding his quarterback skills, not ideal, but not bad either, has a great shot, has good passing skills as well, ideally you have him quarterbacking your 2nd PP unit while a kid like Brook handles the first...Broberg does not have the offensive awareness to quarterback a PP. Show me one clip - one single clip - of him faking to draw a shot block to open a shooting lane. Just one.

Mea culpa about Poulin, I overrated him, tough to assess him properly on a team like Sherbrook when everyone is so bad around him... I think he ends up as an absolutely great third liner, but I dont see the offensive awareness of a top 6...
Maintained. He's been good but its 7 games.Question: Based on what you have seen so far in the U18's (eye test only), has Newhook maintain his stock, increased it, or decreased his stock value heading into the draft?
I wanna change my vote to BrobergShould I jump on the Broberg bandwagon?
