Not saying he's the same player, but a lot of people on HF were sharing the same sentiment about Robert Thomas at this time last year, and now he's arguably a top-10 prospect in the league.

I agree. I was mad at the pick but ultimately I am going to cheer for him until he gives me reason not to, ala Gurianov lol.

He'll be back in Flint, but they're a better team this year (most likely).

Nice. He played surprisingly well yesterday but is definitely not NHL ready just yet. Looked good killing penalties and almost setup a shorthanded goal, but man he is a good skater. Should be a good 3C/low end 2C for us one day, and maybe even higher depending on how everything goes for him
