Mike Scioscia come on down
They went to the playoffs last year too and had a good run to get in. Disappointed that he was not retained.
Be curious to see what other moves are made throughotu the league.
I wonder if the Jays will be interested
It would likely be a good PR move
wasn't he manager under the previous GM? So they probably gave him another look after making the playoffs last year only to fail making it in one of the worst divisions in recent memory this year so the new GM can hire his own guy. the 3 year extension looks puzzling now though
not too surprising
they were supposed to be a lot better than they were this season after their surprise WC run last year. apparently i read the twins plan to keep him on in another capacity
Not sure which manager could have done better with that roster. Their starting pitchers are awful.
Former Blue Jay. Def a name I'm contacting if I'm the Blue Jays who are looking for a new manager.
Seriously, Shapiro could use the good PR, get Molitor signed asap
I thought they are reassigning him within the organization
I thought I saw that too.
Is Molitor good? I haven’t really payed Much attention to him but the games I’ve seen of the Twins he seems kind of brain dead
Isn't that what organizations always say? Just like Lou was staying on as an advisor for the Leafs etc.
Feels like it's just a gracious way to let them go out.
Didnt he win manager of the year last season? Thought I'd heard that.
Yeah, well , you’ll have to forgive me if I don’t put a ton of stock into that award.
The twins also had a terrible season this year and he just got canned. So which is it? Why was he such s good manager last year and an awful won this year?
Separate names with a comma.
