6. G Jan Bednar - Karlovy Vary, Czech

10. G Fabio Iacobo - Victoriaville Tigers, QMJHL
11. G Samuel Hlavaj - Sherbrooke Phoenix, QMJHL
12. G Artur Akhtyamov - Irbis Kazan, MHL
13. G Amir Miftakhov - Bars Kazan, VHL
14. G Victor Ostman - Chicago Steel, USHL
15. G Tucker Tynan - Niagara IceDogs, OHL

Sleepers:
73. RW Oscar Tellstrom - Lulea HF, SuperElit - Tellstrom has been lights out in the last year in the Swedish mens third division of hockey with Vannas silently going under the radar. Shades of Jesper Bratt are evident here as he did the same thing in the Allsvenskan and went underrated in 2016. Despite being ranked low by most scouting services, Tellstrom could be picked up much earlier than expected.

85. RW Alex Laferriere - Des Moines Buccaneers, USHL - Laferriere, all jokes aside is a lights out sniper that is receiving no love from scouting services and with some peak development on other parts of his game could explode into a top six winger.

107. LW Stephen Halliday - Dubuque Fighting Saints, USHL - 6'4 Stephen Halliday has shown some offensive firepower potential in his productive year with Dubuque. Despite an unpolished package of attacking skills, the raw potential is clear when watching Halliday which could tempt a team to take a chance on him earlier than expected in the draft. Once the skating and offensive reliability improves, he could be a great steal.

129. RW/LW Alexander Ljungkrantz - Brynas IF, SuperElit - Pure sniper that has potential to develop over the next 3/4 years. Not the greatest production in the SuperElit has led to him being projected undrafted by most, but he's already seen some SHL time and looks promising.

142. LW Florian Elias - Jungadler Mannheim, DNL U20 - One of my draft favourites. A small player with an offensive punch capable of scoring mass goals. Will get some looks in the DEL this year and could develop to create a potential for the best German draft class ever.

155. LW Matthew Gleason - Cretin-Derham Hall, USHS - Offensive skill off the charts here, and his 5'8 height has him extremely off the radar despite a strong high school year. As a late 01' and only one appearance in the USHL, his name is virtually unknown.

183. RD Landon Kosior - Prince Albert Raiders, WHL - New age, smooth skating defenseman with a high hockey IQ. He has a lot of the little things down that most defenders ranked higher than him don't have. Production will come with time as his offense develops.

9. G Devon Levi - Carleton Place Canadians, CCHL - 5'11 goalie Devon Levi is easy to root for. With shades of Dustin Wolf from years prior, the undersized goalie has insane reactions and would be considered near Askarov level with his size.

Really enjoy these rankings. Obviously there's some I disagree with and some I agree with but that's the beauty of ranking prospects. The Mysak ranking is definitely bold, and he is admittedly a player I haven't watched enough of. What about him makes you see him so highly?

Great stuff. I disagree with a lot of it, but it's a fun list.

No ranking for Sebastian Johannesson? He's in my top 60. Other than that, I think my biggest difference of opinion is the ranking of Sanderson and Poirier. Poirier's defense has him outside my first three rounds, while I have Sanderson firmly in my top 10.

Love the ranking of Grans, however. He's someone I would be very happy if the Wings get him at 32. Same story with Nybeck, tbh. Two of my favorites that I think fans have been sleeping on.

Respect for the list!
Obviously this is a ranking and not a mock but if Sanderson makes it to 15, I would be thrilled for the leafs

Impressive undertaking as usual. Just an FYI, you have two JL Foudy's - at 40 and 56.

J.L Foudy is listed twice. once at 40 and again at 56

Just a quick note, but you have Bogdan Trineyev twice.

thanks guys, was in a rush to post and made some errors copying from notes.
56 - foudy was evan vierling, barrie colts
146- trineyev was cameron berg, muskegon lumberjacks
186- biakabutka was yegor suchkov, salavat

His offensive skillset and dynamic potential. Rocket of a shot and good instincts. He actually was 4th on my list about 8 months ago. He hasn't had the rocket start in the OHL but it's his real first taste of NA hockey.

If Justin Barron is still on the board at pick #70, some GM is going to be doing handsprings on the Zoom draft conference call.
Maybe so! He had a real rough year. Hopefully he can pick things up but I don't see him as more than a #4 defenseman at this point.

Thanks! Not sure who Sebastian Johannesson is, I don't believe thats a player. If you're talking about Anton Johannesson, he's ranked at #58! Great offensive potential there.

Things I like. Stutzle/Byfield in the right order. Jacob Perreault around where he should be due to his incredibly high-upside.

Things I dislike, the gap between Drysdale/Sanderson (I'm closer to thinking they should be flipped in the rankings, although that would be too low for Drysdale for me), Perfetti too low (I'm always going to gamble on a kid who thinks the game at the level Perfetti does, he's the smartest player in the draft, and one of the smartest to come around in years). I wouldn't have him below 4. Lundell way too high (I just don't see a likely outcome where he becomes a legitimate 1st line center).

Haha I remember your stance on Byfield due to your stance on the OHL.

FWIW I tend to find the german pipeline prospects overrated...and the type of player Byfield is, I think I'll always find more useful than the type of player Stutzle is.

Would you mind explaining your thoughts on the four defensemen above? They all seem to have similar builds, so I'd be curious to hear what the differences/upsides you see in them are, and why you have them ranked where they are and in the order they are.

I respect you as a poster but this list kinda looks like you just picked names out of a hat.

Lundell #5? Mysak 8th? Grans #14? Poirier #16? Quinn only at #22?

Would like to hear your thoughts because to me those makes no sense. Lundell I guess if you think he's a future #1C and that his skating issues can be overcome, but the rest is pretty wild. I'm not sure there's a single NHL scout or GM that would be willing to risk a mid 1st round pick on Grans or Poirier if Sanderson is sitting there, for instance.

I think he will go in the 20s. Completely underrated because 1, he was injured a lot of the year, and 2, he was on an epically bad team.

Grans has the most experience against higher level play, the SHL was huge for him. I think he can play in the NHL in a year. His two way game is the best and his offense has some room to grow, especially his vision and creativity looked better by the end of the year.

Shakir has top pairing potential. His offensive game has shown great promise and I think he has a huge breakout in the KHL this year. His skating is already great for a large guy and he just needs some tuning defensively.

As far as the latter two, Wallinder has some potential, but he's still very raw and his defense just kinda scares me. He puck watches a lot and seems to have a somewhat low IQ. Reminds me a little of Broberg in a way from last year with a little sloppier defense and a better shot.

Jurmo is another great skater but I just wanted to see more out of him in the Jr A in Finland. The level of play isn't comparable with the other junior leagues and I think he would struggle a lot more playing at the levels the others mentioned do.

I think Shakir and Grans have high potentials and Grans has the best chance to fulfill his.

It's interesting you mention this group, they all all large with good to great skating ability. Defo some boom potential there.
