Finding the cap space for Anaheim is relatively easy. Despres and Thompson going to LTIR would create almost the entirety of that space, if the team is up against the cap. Keeping the space, now that's another matter. Even if Despres and Thompson are out long-term, and that does look like it will be the case, they'll still need to find a more permanent solution.
