Improved version of his countryman Luis Gabelo Conejo, who was nothing but amazing at WC 1990. Hadn't he been injured, Costa Rica probably could have progressed beyond 2nd round. Too bad that because of nationality restrictions and lack of exposure/scouting, Conejo only got his chance in Europe after age of 30 and at lower level club.
I remember him very well, he was brilliant in Costa Rica's sensational upsets against Scotland and Sweden.

What is a common practice among players which is totally non-existant and can even get you banned from playing with your club (national team related)?

Exactly.
You can't retire from a NT.
If you are called up, not going can result in club suspension.

So far in Ligue 1, after 10 games, who has the best passing % in the final third (89 made for 90%)?

Lmao of course it is.

Spain’s loss to Italy in the Euros kept a certain feat alive. What was that feat?

*only pertains to the Euro tournament.

Spain hasn't lost a knockout game in a whole number of years.
They lost before in 16, won 12 and 08 IIRC.

Nope. Or not the feat I was thinking of. The feat is not directly related to Spain, but more the result of the game.

I was about to say there was at least a semi final going to pens because I thought of 2012 and 2021, but 2016 doesn't work IIRC. France beat Germany and Portugal beat Wales.
I don't know.

As of early December (haven't checked since), only 4 teams of the top 5 leagues had scored a goal in every league game.
Name them.

Liverpool is definitely one. Clermont is the sneaky one that you didn't think people would get. Don't know the other two, so I'll guess Bayern and Atalanta.

Liverpool is one. Bayern is another.
Other 2 are wrong.

And my mistake, there were 5, not 4.
