</p>The New Jersey Devils have a few number of prospects in the NCAA, but many of them are playing impactful roles with their respective teams. The college pipeline has greatly benefited the franchise under Lou Lamoriello. That will likely remain the same under the guidance of General Manager Ray Shero and Head Coach John Hynes, both of whom had previous experiences in the college ranks and internationally with Team USA.

I'll be cheering for them unless they end up playing North Dakota for the national title. Then I will be cheering against them.

Proud of how well a lot of our prospects have been doing lately. Bodes well for the future.

Overall the system looks rejuvenated. Just about everyone has played well. Picking the awards for next month's article is not going to be easy.

I was starting to come around on Gavrus because he finally started showing what he can do. That shot of his is simply nice to watch. Just sad he was injured again. He has lost a lot of playing time. Even if he comes to North America, you have to wonder if his body, at this point, can survive the NHL

Exciting to be in a position where picking awards will be difficult:D

Sadly, that is a good point about Gavrus. There just seem to be some athletes with bodies who are prone to injuries that make it almost impossible for them to put together a career. Always a shame when that happens.

Listening to a radio interview with Jerry York. Host asked him if Demko had the best season in BC history and York mentioned that he's up there with Schneider and Clemmensen.

York also mentioned that Demko/McCoshen/Santini was the foundation of the team. Host asked about Colin White's contributions as a freshman. York was highly complimentary then started talking about Miles Wood's freshman season as well.
