Ah of course....Zajac is only worth discussing on here when people think he sucks and is overpaid. :sarcasm:

Anyways, Travis has been by far the most consistent and best forward on the Devils this season not named Hall. Great to see the guy get rewarded.

Come on bro. Really?
Couldn't handle one sarcastic post? Oh well.

Travis has been our MVP for the for first quarter of the season. He has been the only consistent and reliable forward on the team (besides Hall).

I'd say Zajac has been the most steady and reliable forward on the Devils roster this season, save for Hall.

Played against him for years growing up, was kinda surprised he made the NHL but he's been a pretty consistent two way player. If you had asked me who was better between him or Nigel Dawes growing up though it would have been Nigel no contest.

Best Zajac has looked in years. He might not be a #1 center, but he's playing like one right now. This is very similar to how he played 6/7 years ago when he was putting up 60+ point seasons as a 1st line guy. We'll see if it lasts, but incredibly encouraging for the Devils obviously.

This kid is the real deal and was also at North Dakota. Could be a 50 goal scorer soon.

Just one of those lucky nights... the first goal was a scrum in front of the net and the third one was basically an empty net from the faceoff circle.

At least he's shooting more this season. Let's see if he can score 20 or more this year for the 3rd time in his 10y career.

Hey, Devils' fans: which one of your forwards has been the most consistent and reliable (excluding Hall, of course)?

You are such a whiner :biglaugh:

Good for Travis. Guy has been such a rock on this team and I honestly think people don't give him nearly enough credit. He's not an offensive dynamo, but every team needs players like him.

Yeah this thread isn't necessarily just about his hatty but his resurgence since last year. Man has been playing great hockey. It use to be a narrative on here that he had one of the worst contracts in the leauge...not even close.
