IMO Bjork is a must to much speed and skill to ignore.
Cehlarik has size and skill and it is time to see if he is ready or is it time to move on.
Donato and Frederic will play in the NHL just not ready yet.
Stempniak and Winnik do not provide enough, to block our young players from gaining NHL experience

I did not watch enough preseason to be able to vote, so I'm really interested to see what others choose. Going in, I figured Donato would earn a spot and I was really hoping Frederic would take one

The only player on that list I take for sure is Donato because he is a game breaker type skill. The Bruins 4th line has Acciari who to me is horrible so I would rather Winnik which would still leave another spot for Bjork or Cehlarik.I cannot pick here ,you got me on this one.Glad it is Cassidy who has to decide

I pick Donato and Bjork.

If I was Cassidy, I didn't see enough out of Donato, Heinen, or Bjork to determine which line they play on. You can see neither Heinen nor Donato have truly laid claim to that 2nd RW job, based on the switch Cassidy made last pre-season game when he wasn't seeing much from Heinen.

Bjork obviously being hurt he didn't get much time to show what he could do, but he looked real good last pre-season game, and the fact he made this team a year ago helps his cause.

The No.1 line is intact.

I'd create 3 pairs on the other 3 lines.

Debrusk-Krejci

Kuraly-Backes

Wagner-Nordstrom

Then let the 3 young wingers battle it out as to which line they play on, let there play decide who gets the primo spot on line 2, and who gets to play alongside the two Ham-n-Eggers in Wagner and Nordstrom. Give it 10 games and see what they can do with the opportunity.

But this is Cassidy, and he loves himself some Noel Acciari, so there is zero chance of this happening.

Id pick three personally Donato,Bjork and Cehlarik. They all deserve and have the talent to be there. but if its only 2 you can pick Donato and Bjork gets my vote but Cehlarik is NHL ready.

All three could essentially make it if the Bruins went with two healthy scratches each night.

Marchand Bergy Pasta
DeBrusk Krejci Donato
Heinen Kuraly Backes
Nordstrom Accari Wagner

Bjork/Cehlarik

Id personally tell Backes he's playing center rather its the 3rd or 4th line. Sit Accari and mix him in with Bjork and Cehlarik along with Wagner and Nordstrom. You have everyone fresh and getting NHL time in case injury s occur and may the best player/players win out in the end.

I would hate wasting Bjork/Cehlarik (or any potential young player) as the 13th forward when they could be continuing to develop in the AHL. Especially when Providence is 50 minutes down the highway. It's easy to make a call-up if needed.

Thats true! You diffidently dont want them sitting on the pine/press box just so they can be on the team.

I picked Cehlarik and Winnik, I want a 13th forward I am ok sitting every night, and with Kuraly as the 3C that guy I don't think is in the organization at the moment. Cehlarik I feel like earned the spot and at this point we should see what he has and whether we want him on the team or trade him. I really want Backes as the 3C but I almost voted for Frederic who I think can benefit from time in Providence but could handle the job now and would slot Kuraly down on the 4th line.

if it was my decision. i go with donato and cehlarik ..
heinen krejci cehlarik..... 2nd line .. all play a similiar style and SPEED . not going to be the fastest line but i bet they can keep a solid possession game and all complement themselves offensively
donato kuraly backes.. i get it donato doesnt really seem to fit here.. but think about it. kuraly and backes defensively responsible.. and on the offensive side. kuraly your job is to muck in the corner ..backes, you help muck but on the edge, still has enough skill to know that you feed donato for shots majority of the game..

Looks like it's been answered. Cehlarik and Frederic Assigned.

Looks like Kuraly will get first shot at 3C, Heinen (who i thought was very underwhelming Sat) will get first crack at 2nd RW

Bjork and Donato, both have proven they can play in this league and have tons of upside.

dont like that, cehlarik earned that spot.. best thing is for him and jfk to build some chemistry and be "this year's version of last year's danton heinen"..

For the life of me do not se how Acciari nails down a spot over Winnik on that 4th line.Winnik had better camp and the only advantage I see for Acciari is age .Rest is Winnik in a landslide.I trust Bruce though and whatever he decides I will support him.

Practice lines today have Bjork and Nordstrom splitting time, so while agree Cassidy has his binky, I don’t think the PK specialist free agent pick is assured of being in the top 12.

This sums up my reasons for choosing who I did very nicely! No need to repeat this for me. Thanks for a great summary @bme44

Will be interesting to see which of Bjork or Nordstrom is in the line-up come Wednesday night.

We know it won't be Noel-talent Acciari sitting out, that's for sure.
