Anyone else think that a reason Pompey hasn't been called up yet is because A.A thinks he may have a deal for a LF. I just can't see any reason other then that as to why he hasn't been called up yet.

Possibly. I don't know if he's actively searching for one, but he could have run into a trade where the other team made a LFer available. Then you'd have to send Pompey down after only a few games. Like a Rajai Davis situation as an example. I'd expect him to be called up next week if nothing else gets done.

As for predictions. Tough to say because teams can still trade past tomorrow. That said I'll say Jon Niese is picked up for a minor leaguer and Delabar.

Probably better to showcase him hitting above 300 in AAA then less then in the majors.
