Thought we should have a thread for trade proposals. Proposals seem to show up in all kinds of different
threads on this board.

I'll start.

Dave Bolland is on LTIR and has 2 years left at 5.5 million. Matt Moulson has 2 years left
at 5 million. Arizona has a ton of cap space this year and an obscene amount next year.
What would the Sabres have to add to ship MM out west?
He could be a veteran leader on a very young team. PP specialist as well.

Me, I'd probably take it at this point. Nylander has done nothing to impress so far and Moulson needs to be dumped somehow so we dont' have to carry his cap with positive impact on the team rather than negative. I am not sure we need to add a pick but if we have, it's not the worst idea in the world. Landeskog could be a decent middle 6 forward for us...although that still means 5+ mil for him for another 4 years so it's quite risky.

I'm not ready to judge Landeskog based on last year. I still see a 50+ point, two-way winger that plays with an edge... Like a better version of Kane.

Not sure we want Landeskog, he looks terrible right now. We need to have less money tied to forwards and invest in another top 4 defender.

I'd rather deal for one of the ritchie bros etc that gave us moderate scoring touch and some physicality though I guess landy does that to a lesser extent. Maybe lumbus has soured on Anderson...cool sign me up for him.

How was that well received? Landeskog would transform our team. He's exactly what we need in our forward group. He'd energize our whole team.

Any trade with Nylander has to be with an ELC or a cap dump. I don’t see either happening.

I think we have to ride him out and if he busts he busts. I think he would be fine with ROR or on third line though.

Buffal8 can't take on dead salary next year. If you project the 23 man roster next year they might have 1 player on sn ELC that you could send down and call up against LTIR.

Buffalo will likely have lityle wiggle room next year with the cap.

What realistically could Reinhart fetch? And same for O'Reilly. I can only see Okposo waving his NMC for the Wild.

No one knows what any of their value is. They havent exactly covered themselves in glory recently so its anyones guess. I agree we need speed so exchanging somehow one of Okposo or Sam or even theory ROR (Im not fully ready to give him up but its getting close) for someone more explosive/speedy would be a good thing for the team right now. I
They look like they cant keep up with an up-tempo tram right now.
