Hagel has a 1.5M cap hit for multiple forthcoming seasons.

Anderson has a 5.5M cap hit for 7 years.

But yes, we should trade Anderson if we can get a good return.

I just don't think this Hagel trade has much to do with Anderson or Lehkonen.

Last year NICK foligno got a 1st. That has me hopeful Lehk can. Not sure who a comparable is to Josh Anderson and his contract that were moved recently at the TDL, or at all. Hughes said teams are up against the cap and big contracts are hard to move.

Imagine they could swap that pair for Edmundson and Petry (50%) retained. They missed on Chiarot, but that would be a massive upgrade for them for the next 4 seasons. And both eddy and Petry would be at about 3.5M cap hits.

If that or Anderson gets them to move Pelletier or coronato, DO IT!

If they didn’t trade those prospects for Toffoli or Chiarot then we can assume they aren’t going to. We’ve become obsessed with Pelletier but the dream is dead imo.
