I see you could use some goalie help but I would definitely not give up tavares. Tavares will continue to improve. Zetterberg is struggling to stay healthy and Crawford is a decent goalie but on any other team his value would decrease significantly. Not a good deal for you imo

Do you think it would be doable with Jimmy Howard instead of Crawford?

Hank is aging and Detroit is on the decline. Tavares is just kicking in to Beast mode. If Vanek stays or Isles move to Brooklyn and pump money into the team, Tavares could be 100point guy for many years to come.

No way! JT is a top 5 fantasy keeper. Zetterberg is aging and, while he has been good, Smith isn't worth it. You definitely need a goalie but I'd target JT for Varlomov+ if you want to deal JT.

Its a close deal in OP but I would lean toward keeping Tavares because you don't have very much Keeper depth.

Replacing Howard for Crawford makes the deal horrible for you. Crawford >>>> Howard in both ability and situation. I see Mzarek surpassing Howard for #1 duties by the end of next season.
