Rules:
Scoring:
+1 point for correctly predicting that a player or asset will be traded but incorrectly predicting the team they will be traded to.
+5 points for correctly predicting that a player or asset will be traded and correctly predicting the team they will be traded to.
+10 points for correctly predicting a full trade.
Example: If someone had predicted last year that Detroit would trade Tyler Bertuzzi to Boston for a 2024 1st round pick and a 2025 4th round pick they would receive 25 points total for that prediction (5 points for each asset correctly predicted plus 10 points for correctly predicting the full trade).
Note: Correctly predicting salary retention and 'future considerations' will not count towards your score.
I will edit this post on March 1st to include a link to a spreadsheet that lists everyone's predictions. Let me know if you have any questions or need any rules clarified.
- Predictions must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on February 29. You can submit or change your predictions any time up to this point. Only your final entry will count.
- Predictions must either be posted in this thread or sent to me via private message.
- Only trades that take from March 1 to March 8 will count towards your score.
- You can submit a maximum of 10 trade predictions in your entry. All of your predictions must be included in the same post/message.
- You can only use each player or asset in one prediction (ie. no predicting Noah Hanifin will be traded to Boston and then also predicting he will be traded to Tampa Bay in the same entry).
- Each prediction can include a maximum of 6 players/assets per trade.
- Predictions should use the following format for the sake of clarity and simplicity:
You do not need to specify which team a pick originally belonged to, only the year and round the pick is in.To Boston: Noah Hanifin
To Calgary: 2025 1st round pick, Mason Lohrei
