Please go beat some sense into AV because he's throwing away a top-4 defenseman who can provide something we've been pining for a while. This franchise loves trading pieces that they have and then trying to replace that same type of player who isn't as good

As well as set the time Machine to 2006. Why would the Rangers want to move the limited assets we have to the current Eric Staal? He's been a shell of his former self for quite sometime, and his play inst just a "needs a change of scenery" scenario.

If the Rangers were to choose putting Nash on the LTIR, they would need to focus all their efforts on special teams. The ES play is already fairly solid.
