Carlyle, please use your godly line matching power to keep Kessel and JVR as far away from that dirty goon Dustin Brown and his knees.

I still maintain that our 2-1 loss to Los Angeles earlier this season was our best overall game of the season. Spoiled only by one of the most ridiculous goaltending performances I can recall in recent memory from Martin Jones.

I think the only way we win this game is if we get goals from our secondary forwards, because LA is going to play tight and clog up the middle of the ice.

Yeah, McKenzie said it best after the game too, "The Leafs got Leafed"

Hows Martin Jones even doing now?

Last time we played against the Kings we dominated most of the game but Jones was completely on fire and and stole the game for them.

Hopefully we can bury our chances against them tonight.

LA is the best defensive team in the NHL, goals may be scarce.

46 out 66 games LA gave up 2 or less goals in regulation + OT and 9 of those 20 games happened in first 15 games of this season.

So their record in last 51 games is 11 games where they conceded 3 or more goals and 40 games with 2 or less goals in their net...

I remember the loss against LA all too well...the Leafs rarely play a perfect sixty minute game and I don't forget the ones in which they do.

Ranger's ill advised pinch cost us at least a point in a game we dominated.

Let's hope we end their 8 game win streak.

i expect a big game from the guys tonight. they have had a chance to rest and after getting dominated by san jose i think they will respond well. their ego/pride was stung. i suspect a 4-2 win tonight.

goals - kessel, lupul, franson, and an empty netter from mclemment

So we aren't allowed to think that play by Phaneuf was wreckless and stupid or else we aren't "fans"

Good one :yo:

You can be a fan and think that, you'd just be wrong.

Have they said what was wrong with Franson in San Jose? Will he be back in tonight?
