I really hope that loss on Tuesday wasn't all in vain. Hopefully it woke them up and made them realize that they need to ramp it up a notch or 2. Hoepfully, in a month from now we will look at that loss as a blessing in disguise that launched us to go on a run to make the playoffs.

I'd have them top6 in our current lineup.
We have too many middle of the road players taking away mins from guys that should be out there. It's nice to spread things out, but think we need to start looking like a 4 line team.

I think Hyman and Komarov would look great in relaxed roles. Leivo and Brown play more of a top6 game (IMO they can hang with our top end guys a little better) and should atleast unseat those 2 for a couple games?


Unfortunately we don't have decent enough vets. You'd hope guys like Lupul/Laich/Michalek would be ushering a young Center/Winger this year. Even JvR has been bad, tied to Bozak and one of the last players you want our rookies to learn work ethic from.

Judging by their pre-game thread, Froese was sent down and Peca played last night in Syracuse so they don't think he's being called up to replace Froese. This might mean that they are getting one of their centers back. Maybe Stammer or Johnson? Hopefully they are rusty or still injured if they play

Edit: sounds like Johnson is near ready and Stamkos probably won't play until playoffs, so there's that.
