And this year will actually include at least some fans. Would be pretty awesome to have them back here again. Though - where do the Bisons play then?

Though - where do the Bisons play then?

Hasn't been determined yet.

What happens to the Bisons?

That is uncertain. The team's first schedule in the new Triple-A East league was announced Thursday, and it opens April 6 at home against Rochester. But if work is already under way at the ballpark in anticipation of the Jays' arrival, it might not be possible for the Bisons to play here.

It is clear due to protocols and mere space in the park that the Bisons and Blue Jays could not play here simultaneously. The Blue Jays say they will relocate the Triple-A club, maybe for the whole season if necessary.

Where could the Bisons go? Hard to say. It would have to be somewhere in their division footprint, perhaps sharing a park with a team such as Rochester or Syracuse. Maybe going to the Double-A facility in Erie, Pa. The Blue Jays and MLB would be heavily involved in the arrangements.

"The Triple-A team wouldn't barnstorm. We would find a different home, something we're already working on," Shapiro said. "We're not prepared to say what that is yet. But we're not just going to kick the Triple-A team to the street.

Analysis: Will the Blue Jays return to Buffalo? Maybe, but it's complicated

Trust me when I say, you will want to watch the Jays more than the Bisons.

We just added Springer to join Bichette, Guerrero Jr, Gurriel Jr, Grichuk, Hernandez to name a few great players.

We are a young club coming off a postseason birth looking to build off that and actually go deep.

Pitching still needs a little work but our young gun Pearson should take a big step forward again this year and Ryu has been excellent since joining the Jays.

Kirk was a monster for us this year at catcher, showing us we can easily replace Jansen, we still have Tellez.

This should be an exciting season.

Jays actually rebuild right from the Bautista/Encarnacion era.

Pearson is probably capped at 100 innings due to his lack of work over the last 2 seasons.
They should be in the playoff picture most of the year then make a move for pitching at the trade deadline, unless of course SWR comes out and forces his way into the rotation

They also added 2019 All Star closer Kirby Yates, 2018 and 2019 MVP candidate Marcus Semien, and Chatwood.

More details:

-Sahlen Field will be at 24% capacity for the events(at least right now; that could change as we move through the summer). (It's listed at 16,600....so, figure on about 4,000 or so at most.)

-The homestand starting June 24th vs. Baltimore(6/24-26; Seattle from June 29th-July 1st(Canada Day) and Tampa Bay from July 2-4)will go on sale June 3rd at 10am; future homestands will go on sale on days TBA.

-Tickets will be sold in pods of up to 4 people spaced 6 feet apart. And ticketing will be mobile only(via the MLB Ballpark app); the pod's purchaser has to transfer the individual tickets to everyone else in their party for gate entry.

-Everyone 3 and up needs either a negative COVID-19 test(PCR: 72 hours before the game; rapid test: no more than 6 hours before game time)or proof of full vaccination(at least 14 days before the game).

-Symptom screening and temperature checks will be in place.

-Masks on at all times EXCEPT when actively eating or drinking in your designated seats.

It would not surprise me to find out that Sahlen Field will go cashless for the season, but that info isn't know yet.
