No. Gross. Stop.

Vancouver isn't trading Horvat. If we were, taking on an 11 million dollar contract is at the bottom of our wish list.

Minnesota is looking for a top six C to trade Dumba.

Arizona doesn't need to give up a player with a hope of improving for an older, more expensive, smaller forward.

Yeah if the Bracco train hadn’t left the station before, it definitely has now. He probably has about the same or less value than Korshkov now... shame.

Dumba isn’t the defenceman the leafs need, he plays the same game that Barrie does and we don’t need more offence

Love Marner, but want to see him on Bo’s wing, so got to keep Bo and get MM. Boeser and Jake, and Demko for MM would make me a happy Canuck’s fan.

I find this offer intriguing as a Leafs fan. hurts to give up Marner but three young talented pieces coming back is great. Brock and Matthews are good friends. Leafs save some cap and can move Andersen for a 2nd. I pull the trigger

Boeser/ Tavares/ Hyman
Nylander/ Matthews/ Mikheyev
Virtanen/ Kerfoot/ Johnnson
Engvall/Spezza/Brooks/Malgin

Rielly/ Pietro
Muzzin/ Holl
Sandin/ Lehtonen/Dermott

Demko
Campbell

When a player is placed on LTIR, they are still on the team's payroll and their cap hit continues to count as it always did. However, LTIR allows a team to exceed the cap limit
Yes, and the amount that can be exceeded depends on how close the team was to the cap limit at the end of preseason. The AAV is the maximum potential amount of relief, but the actual amount of relief can be lower than the AAV.

Toronto wouldn't do it either. Horvat is an excellent player but marner is just much better. Also the leafs would have him at 3c and that is a huge waste.
I understand the cap implications but I agree this is worse for the Leafs than the Canucks. Marner is an elite winger, Horvat is a heart and soul good center - Elite is worth more every time, and I'm a Canuck fan.

I see a lot of trades including Liljegren and I think everyone undervalues him. If you look at his stats in the AHL, it’s very comparable to Erik Branstrom, who was the main piece in the Mark Stone trade. Just putting this out there.
