yes, it was coming, yes, I was busy as f***... yes, I'm also kinda lazy

Anyway, keeping this poll open for 2 weeks. We've seen some hot starts from some of our guys, and gotten the prospects tournament under our belts. So now's the time to see who's the top of the pack, who we're all sleeping on, and who we're all going to over-rate only to see the player never get offered by us.

Same rules as last year: 25 or fewer NHL games played, 24 or under... basically the Calder eligibility requirements. Same way as we did before, though cutting it down to top 3 goalies since... yeah that just makes more sense, if you want to do top 15 skaters and top 3 goalies, we'll take that. If you want to do top 20 as a combined list, I'll take that as well and adjust as needed. So if you want to do 19 skaters and 1 goalie, fine, the 4 extra skaters will count as HMs. If you want to do 13 skaters and all 7 goalies.... I'll want to know what you're having and where I can get some, and then I'll count the 4 extra goalies as HMs.

Outside of our top prospects who are closest to making the roster - Drury, Morrow, Nikishin, Kochetkov - I don't feel comfortable enough to do any more than @MinJaBen. I could maybe pick out the next tier but wouldn't even know where to begin actually ranking them.

That's not how this works, you pick them out and rank them and stand firm behind your ranks no matter the arguments against them!!!

*picks a name*
*rolls D20 for ranking*

After a quick view on past rankings, some hindsight observations. Not doing this to bust anyone's chops as I'm clueless on most of these prospects. It just goes to show how hard it is to predict these guys given the limited viewings we have of them and the different leagues they all play in.

2018 notables:
- Jake Bean and Zykov ahead of Adam Fox.
- Saarela, Kuokkanen, McKeown, Gauthier, and Martin ahead of Roy at #12, Drury at #16, and Luostarinen at #19

2019 notables:
- Drury at #14, Luostarinen at #12

2020 notables:
- Drury at #7 behind Bokk, Rees, Suzuki,
- Seeley and Nikishin at #15 (T)
- Lorentz at #18

2021 notables:
- Jack Lafontaine as 2nd rank goalie with same # of first place votes as Kochetkov
- Drury all the way up to #2 just behind Jarvis
- Bokk at #5 tied with Morrowkar.
- Seeley at #15, Nikishin at #18
