Hudler, Pirri and Vrbata still out there. Pretty decent options that could be had cheap at this point.

All three deals bad for Pitt.

Don't want anything to do with E. Kane in our org.

Sprong and a First? Hell no.

Last deal looks better on paper but it is infact not. Pitt needs ES scoring whilst Sharp is a PP specialist. Kunitz actually had more ES points than Sharp last season. So we are basically downgrading on goaltending and moving much further down in the draft for nearly nothing.

I'd do Pouliot+cap dump for Kane. Dude's tailor made for what the Pens need to add on LW.

E. Kane (1.5 million retained)

For

C. Kunitz
2017 1st

J. Skinner
2017 3rd

For

C. Kunitz
D. Sprong
2017 1st

K. Lehtonen (1.5 million retained)
P. Sharp
2017 4th

For

M. Fleury
C. Kunitz
2017 2nd

Pitt can buy out lehtonen after this season. Provides insurance for Murray

The only one I'd be interested in (and I doubt they would be) is the third one with Dallas.

The first, I don't want the headache associated with Evander Kane. The second, Skinner's no doubt a legitimate scorer, but with the Pens' bad luck with injuries, I'd hate to have another guy who is one hit away from retirement on the club.

So misleading. Sharp is a significantly better all around hockey player then Kunitz is. I don't care what their respective stat line was last season - Sharp is far from "just a PP specialist".
